Why Our Customers Choose Us:

Deep Expertise in Plastic Injection Molding

Our team brings hands-on experience across single-shot, and two-shot programs with the material knowledge and process discipline to take on programs that require more than a standard quote. We take the time to understand your part before we run it.

DFM Review and Quick-Turn Prototyping

We review your CAD early and flag issues before they become expensive tooling corrections. We document our findings and work through them with your engineering team before a mold is ever cut.

Globally Sourced Tooling with U.S. Engineering Oversight.

We source tooling globally to keep costs competitive, but we manage every step from our side; mold design review, first shots, dimensional inspection, and corrections. Your team stays focused on your program, not on chasing an overseas supplier.

High Quality & Robust Quality System

Good parts start with a controlled process. Our quality system is built in alignment with ISO 9001, with an active roadmap toward ISO 13485. Documented processes, validated process parameters, controlled change management, and full lot traceability are in place from day one. Every part that ships meets the same standard as the first one qualified.

Low to Mid Volume Production

Most high volume molders treat low-to-mid volume programs as a distraction. We treat them as our core business. Programs in the 500 to 50,000 units per year range receive dedicated engineering attention, documented process controls, and a quality system that meets the standards your sourcing team expects, regardless of order size.

One Accountable Partner – OAPM

From design concept to tooling strategy and eventually production, OAPM manages the entire process for your injection molded part or project. OAPM ensures all timelines are kept and milestones are met. If turnkey supply is needed, OAPM works with its network of suppliers to establish a formidable supply chain.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is OAPM ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 or AS9100 certified?

Not yet, but our quality system has been built in alignment with ISO 9001 & ISO 13485 standards and AS 9100. We have an active roadmap to get certifications soon. Documented processes, validated production parameters, controlled change management, and full lot traceability are in place. If needed, we welcome customer audits to confirm our robust quality system.

What resins does OAPM work with

Engineering-grade resins across a broad range of material families are supported including ABS, PC, PC/ABS, Nylon, TPE, TPU, PVC, and others based on program requirements. Material selection guidance is available during the DFM review phase for programs where resin has not yet been finalized.

What is the typical lead time from tooling approval to first production shipment

Production tooling typically takes 6 to 12 weeks from tooling approval to first-shot approval. Production qualification and process validation follow prior to first shipment. Total timeline from program kickoff to first production delivery can be as low as 10 weeks but this depends on part complexity and customer review cycles.

Does OAPM support mold transfers from other suppliers?

Existing tooling is accepted for transfer and qualification. Incoming molds are inspected, trialed, and documented before production is initiated. Transfer programs from both domestic and overseas suppliers are supported.
